Pre-Move Preparation 

  • Meet with you in your existing environment. 

  • Prepare a move timeline. 

  • Create scale drawings of your new home and your furniture to determine what will fit. 

  • Customize a floor plan and determine the precise lay out of your furniture. 

  • Work with you in sorting through closets, attics, basements, and storage units. 

  • Assist you in rightsizing to the space you are moving into while keeping what matters most.   

  • Work with you in sorting through living areas, closets, attics, basements, and  storage units. 

  • Take picture inventory of existing possessions for replication of china cabinets, curios, etc. 

  • Label what is being moved to new residence for an efficient move. 

  • Arrange a for mover or work with a mover of your choice. 

  • Coordinate dispersal of unwanted items based on your preferences to family, friends, auction, consignment,  estate sale, donation, or a combination of the above. 

  • Arrange for removal and proper recycling of unwanted items. 

  • Coordinate shipping of unneeded treasures to family, friends, etc. according to  your wishes. 

  • Assist in utility and address changes to ensure uninterrupted service. 

Day of the Move (aka When the Magic Happens!) 

  • Supervise moving crew to ensure that your belongings arrive as safely as possible. 

  • Orchestrate proper placement of furnishings and rugs based on your customized floor plan. 

  • Unpack all boxes and put everything in its place. 

  • Reconnect lamps, TVs, clocks, and other electronic devices. 

  • Set up kitchens and baths so they are ready for use. 

  •  Flatten boxes and packing materials to assist in easy disposal. 

  • We even make the beds! 

Getting Your Former Home Ready For Sale

  • De-clutter what is remaining in the home to maximize on the space that is there. 

  • Use remaining furniture and accessories to stage the home, improving the buyers  overall first impression. 

  • Emphasize the most attractive features of the house, often architectural  details such as fireplaces, moldings, and windows, that enhance the charm of the home.

  • Assist in selection of realtor or work with one of your choice for a profitable rental   or resale, whichever you choose. 

  • Arrange for thorough cleaning and waste removal as well as “sprucing up” home  to increase marketability. 

  • While big projects are sometimes needed, we also offer the opportunity to simply help you unpack your boxes and put everything in its place. We customize our service to meet your needs.
